- DDDDEEEESSSSCCCCRRRRIIIIPPPPTTTTIIIIOOOONNNN
- eeeennnnddddsssseeeessssssssiiiioooonnnn terminates a login session initiated by xxxxddddmmmm by
- removing the session property placed on the root window by
- rrrreeeeaaaappppeeeerrrr. Removal of this property is a signal to xxxxddddmmmm that
- the session should be closed. This results in immediate
- termination of the current login session. eeeennnnddddsssseeeessssssssiiiioooonnnn uses
- the environment variable DDDDIIIISSSSPPPPLLLLAAAAYYYY to determine what session
- to terminate.
-
- Command line options are available to change the display
- variable and to suppress the confirmation window. The
- command line options are:
-
- ----ddddiiiissssppppllllaaaayyyy _d_i_s_p_l_a_y_n_a_m_e
- Overrides the environment variable DDDDIIIISSSSPPPPLLLLAAAAYYYY. Changes
- which session will be terminated.
-
- ----ffff Surpresses the confirmation window, eeeennnnddddsssseeeessssssssiiiioooonnnn will
- just run. (The 'f' stands for "force.")
-
- eeeennnnddddsssseeeessssssssiiiioooonnnn has no effect on "failsafe" login sessions since
- rrrreeeeaaaappppeeeerrrr is not run. Such sessions are terminated by exiting
- the login shell.
-
- WWWWAAAARRRRNNNNIIIINNNNGGGG
- Execution of eeeennnnddddsssseeeessssssssiiiioooonnnn causes the immediate termination of
- the session specified by DISPLAY.
